My Healthy Living Plan Week #1







Healthy Living Week One Update


Last Monday, January 3rd, I started my plan to live a more healthy life. My goals were to get in daily exercise and improve my eating habits.


My first week went well.

I am pretty damn proud of myself for consistently putting in the time on the treadmill every morning.


And I am also happy to report that I am doing much better with replacing my junk food with fruit. Not perfect, but better.


And as a result of the exercise and more fruit and less junk food, I am down a pound, and I am sleeping straight through the night, no more waking up several times during the night. I consider uninterrupted sleep a major victory.


This week my next step is to increase my time and distance on the treadmill. And to add some afternoon activity into my day. I try not to stay sitting on my butt too long at a time. I need to get up and move around.


And the best part of exercising and changing my eating habits even a little is knowing that I am making my heart stronger.


I am doing something good for my body. And that has significantly improved my overall attitude.


So get up and get moving. You won't regret it.
