"It's amazing how quickly your life changes when your attitude about life changes." We should always look for ways to brighten someone's day. Keep an eye out for someone who appears to need a smile or a helping hand. Kindness goes a long way in making someone's day just a bit better.



Take the time to be kind.

When you make someone else feel good, you will feel good too.


1. Bake some cookies or muffins and surprise a friend. 2. Smile and compliment a stranger. 3. Send a cheerful, funny card to a friend or family member. 4. Surprise someone with a new coffee mug—something with a funny message on it. 5. Volunteer to run some errands. 6. Plan a surprise outing 7. Give a gift of chocolate. 8. Listen, really listen. 9. Tip a little extra to your server the next time you are out to dinner. 10. Leave a little thank you note on the receipt for your server. 11. Buy your coworker a coffee. 12. Keep a few little gifts on hand and randomly leave one for someone. 13. Give a great review if you received excellent service. It always makes someone feel good when their hard work has been noticed and appreciated. 14. Leave an uplifting comment on a friend's Facebook page. 15. Always say thank you! It's good manners, and it's much appreciated. 16. Flowers always bring a smile to someone's face: a single rose or even a bouquet of daisies. 17. Have a friend you've lost touch with? Reconnect. 18. Smile and open the door for someone. 19. Next time you visit a friend, leave a little surprise gift for them. It doesn't have to be anything significant. Maybe some of their favorite tea or chocolate. 20. Pay it forward every chance you get at the drive-through. That person who is on the receiving end will remember that random act of kindness for a long time. And, the chances are good that they will one day pay it forward for someone else. 21. Be generous and donate to a charity whenever possible. Every little bit helps. 22. Let someone go ahead of you in line at the grocery store. 23. Make up a get-well basket for someone who's sick. 24. Take in the neighbor's trash container for them, especially if they are elderly. 25. Shovel a neighbors sidewalk in the winter.
