Healthy fruits and berries is a great start to winning the war on junk food.

How to win the war with Junk Food and start a healthy lifestyle.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I am a junk food junkie. So basically, I am a junk food addict. But I am ready to fight the battle against sugar. It’s way past time to win this war.

No one and I mean no one should consume the amount of sugar that I can consume easily in one day.

Cutting back on the sugar in my diet is one of the first steps, I am taking toward a healthier lifestyle. Eating healthy and making exercise a regular habit again is my goal.

Lessons, I have learned in the past.

Lessons, I have learned in the past.

1. Stay hydrated. Drink your water.

2. Plan your meals and snacks ahead of time.

3. Know what you will be eating and when you will be eating. For me, it’s essential I eat three meals.

4. Don’t miss meals. Missing meals for me is a disaster waiting to happen. It’s like an excuse to overeat.

5. Carry a few healthy snacks with you all the time. Fruit or proteins bars will do.

6. Never, ever grocery shop when you are hungry. When you get home, you will have bags of that evil junk food. Not to mention the added cost to your grocery bill.

7. Plan your exercise. And there is nothing wrong with exercising at home. Make it easy to get your exercise in with DVDs, and YouTube videos. Once you are in the exercise habit, you can change things up. Doing a variety of different things will keep your routine from becoming boring.

8. Print out these tips and keep them in where you can easily see them when you need a little extra motivation.

Exercise as often as possbile.

When it comes to your cravings, you have to be strong and not feed your addiction.

If you can control your cravings, they will get weaker as you go along.

I know for a fact you can you get your cravings under control. And it doesn’t take that long. But, you have to be vigilant. It’s okay to have a cookie or a piece of cake now and then. But, you have to do it in moderation.

Don’t fall back into your old habit of eating junk food every day. If you do, you have to start the battle all over again. I know that fact all too well. I want to win the war once and for all.
