Confessions- from Cheryl's Casual Chatter

Updated: Nov 18, 2019

I love to share ideas and thoughts. I am interested in anything that makes life more straightforward and more organized. I am also interested in achieving a healthier more fit lifestyle.

But, I have a confession to make. I am not what one could call an organized person. I strive in that direction though. I keep plugging away. Some days are better than others.

I don't have a perfectly organized house. It's not going to make the cover of a magazine. I should be mopping my kitchen floor right now.

I need to lose about ten pounds. I have a junk food addiction that I am continually battling: Nope, no perfect person or perfect life here. I have no interest in being perfect. Just happy and content.

I am a wife, mother, and grandmother. I love being all three.

I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I refuse to compare myself to others. I'm me. And, I like being me.

I love making to-do lists. And it's always a good day when I can cross something of the list.

I also love pads of paper, notebooks, journals, and pens. Which in itself causes clutter

I have a good sense of humor, and I tend to be a bit sarcastic. Okay, maybe a lot sarcastic.

I am a people person. I will talk to anybody. Nothing like a good conversation while waiting in line at the grocery store.

I am an avid reader of romantic suspense books.

I am not a fan of winter. Summer is my season.

I look forward every summer to our trip to Laughlin Nevada for a couple of weeks. It's my happy place.

Okay, so now, I have told you a lot about myself. I want you to know that I am passionate about accomplishing my goals of a healthy lifestyle. And that includes some exercise and having a reasonably neat and organized home.

I hope you will join me on my journey. We can compare notes. And celebrate our victories. Even just the small successes will be cause for a celebration.

I may not always be successful when it comes to my routines. But I will not give up. I will take another look at my habits and see what changes I can make. New methods are required. I am off to make my to-do list for today. Fingers crossed!
